READY, SET, LAUNCH! Well, my dear friends, it feels like it's been a long time coming - but today I'm so pleased that our new website is up and running... It's been an exciting and challenging process - what with the coordination of our Shannon Fricke Bedlinen range and my new book How To Decorate all launching to coincide with the website - but we're here.... And I love it...
I couldn't imagine - back in 2008 when I first launched my blog - that we would grow to here... From the beginning, my blog has been a way to connect with you - a way to showcase my work and a way to remain in the loop with my decision to move out of the hustle and bustle of Sydney and onto a farm in country Bangalow, NSW... It just goes to show that good things do come when you follow your heart and work real hard...
I just have to say that none of this would have happened without the support of my homies... Charlotte, my offsider who has brought the website to life in such a focussed and creative way; to Sophie who got the ball rolling and set me on this path over coffee at the Bayleaf (!); to Nicky for keeping the cogs turning and to Anthea for making sure that we stay on track... Thanks to you all my dear friends - this website is as much for you as me... And of course, I can't make thanks without mentioning my angels - Michael my hubby, who has tirelessly supported my career from the first day we met, and Inez and Joe my babes, who revel in the excitement of my work as much as I do... Also, to Terence, Tina and Hao - you've been gems for coordinating the site so beautifully...
So enjoy the new site all, and the blog (which I will be updating all the time).... Don't forget that you can sign up for newsletters by going to the subscribe section at the bottom of the site - the team and I will creating special offerings just for you guys.... And for those of you interested in workshoping, be sure to check out my news dates for 2012....
